Bell & Ross was founded in 1992 by childhood friends Bruno Belamich, an industrial designer, and Carlos Rosillo, a business entrepreneur. During its early years, Bell & Ross collaborated with German watchmaker Sinn Spezialuhren, producing highly regarded military and aviation watches before moving manufacturing to Switzerland.

A defining moment arrived in 2005 with the launch of the BR 01, whose square case directly referenced aircraft cockpit instruments. This bold design established Bell & Ross as one of the most recognizable modern watch brands. Since then, the company has expanded into aviation, diving, motorsport, and urban luxury collections while preserving its philosophy of "Function Shapes Form."
